Ter Burchgraeve
For this two‑week school project, the assignment was to choose a local hospitality business and create a brand‑new, modern website for them. I selected Taverne/Tearoom Ter Burchgraeve, a place I often visited myself. The process involved an on‑site visit to take photographs of the location, the menu items, and the team — all of which I later edited for web use.
The website needed to meet specific requirements: a fresh and modern design, a set number of pages, visible opening hours powered by JavaScript, and a front‑end newsletter subscription form. Every element of the site’s design was created from scratch in the design phase, with regular feedback sessions from our teachers.
At the end, the finished project was presented to a jury. This project allowed me to combine photography, photo editing, front‑end development, and design into one complete, client‑oriented product.
